10 ounces breakfast sausage (maple-flavored)
1/4 cup sweet onion (finely chopped)
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups milk
1 large egg
Instructions
In a non-stick fry pan, cook crumbled sausage over medium heat until browned. Add chopped onion and sauté until tender.
In mixing bowls, combine dry ingredients in one bowl and whisk milk with the beaten egg in another.
Pour the milk mixture into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. Fold in the sausage and onion mixture.
