  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/3 cup chopped red onions
  • 1/2 cup crushed beef rinds
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 4 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or balsamic vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, red onions, crushed beef rinds, ground pepper, minced garlic, soy sauce or balsamic vinegar, ground mustard, chili powder, and tomato sauce. Mix gently until combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  4. Bake for 45-50 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F).
  5. Spread ketchup on top before serving.
