  • 1 box (16 oz) elbow macaroni
  • 1 1/4 cups frozen peas
  • 3 cans (5 oz each) tuna in water, drained
  • 4 hardboiled eggs, chopped
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • 3 sticks celery, chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2/3 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package directions. Add frozen peas during the last 6-8 minutes of cooking. Drain and rinse under cold water until cooled.
  2. In a large bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, sweet pickle relish, lemon juice, celery seeds, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Stir in drained tuna and let sit for about 5 minutes to absorb flavors.
  4. Combine cooled macaroni with chopped hardboiled eggs, red onion, celery sticks, and green onions into the tuna mixture; stir until well combined.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours before serving.
