  • 2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • Skewers
  • Lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, Cajun seasoning, lemon juice, and honey until combined.
  3. Rinse shrimp and pat dry. Thread shrimp onto skewers and place on a sheet pan. Brush with Cajun butter mixture.
  4. Preheat grill to high heat. Grill each skewer for 2-3 minutes per side until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  5. Remove from grill and brush with remaining Cajun butter before serving with optional lemon slices.
