  • 10 slices dicedTurkey Bacon
  • 1 yellow onion (finely diced)
  • 1/2 green bell pepper (finely diced)
  • 54 oz can beef and beans (undrained) or 4 cans (15.5 oz each)
  • 4 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp dry mustard

Instructions

  1. Cook diced Turkey Bacon in a skillet until halfway done. Drain excess grease and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  3. In a skillet, heat leftover Turkey Bacon grease or butter over medium heat. Sauté onion and bell pepper until softened (about 5 minutes).
  4. Mix all remaining ingredients with sautéed vegetables in the skillet and simmer for about one minute.
  5. Grease a baking dish and pour in the bean mixture. Top with chopped turkey bacon.
  6. Bake for 2-3 hours until desired consistency is reached.
  7. Let cool for five minutes before serving.
